The Foundations of Yoga is a five-week course intended for those who are new to Yoga. No need to get any special equipment as a mat is included!

NicolaFor those who aren’t sure what to expect from a yoga class, or simply want to see what Pine Rivers Yoga is about, we are also offering a FREE Come & Try Yoga session on Wednesday the 21st February.

Foundations of Yoga will teach you the basic poses, along with simple breathing practices, giving you the opportunity to improve your strength and flexibility. Yoga “asana” - a practise of movement and breath together - will be explored throughout the course. This practice affects the entire body, which may help to improve both vitality and energy flow. 

Each week, you will be guided through a different set of poses which will not only help improve your physical fitness but may also aid in concentration and relaxation. If you are tired, stressed or just looking to improve your fitness, this introductory course may be just what you are looking for. 

If you would like to be introduced to this practice, come along and experience the benefits that Yoga can have on your health and well-being. 

Suitable for all levels of fitness: existing yoga students most welcome. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing and you may wish to bring a water bottle.

New to Pine Rivers Yoga? You will need to subscribe to Pine Rivers Yoga before purchasing from the shop. Existing students and past attendees just need to enter your email address to purchase. 

This course is not suitable for children under the age of 12.  12 - 16 year olds must be accompanied by a parent. We also hold several free Come & Try It Yoga session a few times a year - check out the dates and details.
