Winter Yin Yoga Workshop - Pine Rivers Yoga - Brisbane, Australia

Winter Yin Yoga Workshop

Every season is a reminder that nothing lasts forever. Everything has a moment of creation and destruction, all are equally beautiful and majestic in nature.

Honouring change is vital for a deeper understanding of ourselves. We too, must change and let things fall off and regrow to evolve as humans.

As winter settles in, and the sunny days shorten, slow down a little, take some deep calming breaths and nourish your bodies with some Yin yoga love and kindness.

Yin yoga is the perfect opportunity to surrender into our bodies, our hearts and minds, cultivating an allowance of being with things as they are.

The slow-paced meditative Yin Yoga explores long, deep stretching of connective tissue of the spine, the hips and the pelvis to stimulate and enhance healing, joint mobility and improve flexibility.

The long holds in this Yin Yoga  Immersion will impact the deeper yin tissues allowing for an infusion of blood, prana and chi flow to revitalise the joints, hydrate and soften the tissues, and stimulate the organs of the body.

Your Yin Teacher, Jenny Warburton is a passionate exponent of Yin Yoga! Jenny will lead you through an infusion of revitalising Yin yoga postures encouraging you to move mindfully with kindness to create space within your body so you can transition to this new season with a renewed perspective.

Her recent trainings with Sarah Powers in Thailand and in Sydney, along with the completion of all four levels of training with Karin Sang & Markus Geiss in New Zealand, will give us the opportunity to learn from the Insight Yoga Institute of Sarah & Ty Powers, as well as the Yin Yoga School of Paul Grilley with an emphasis on the meridians and chi energy for an Winter Yin Yoga practise.

A Yin Yoga practice has no prerequisites; you do not have to be strong, skinny, vegan, flexible or any other stereotype attached to ‘yoga people’. All you need to do is show up, be open to the experience; and let the yoga practice do the rest.

Value your yin qualities, come along and join Jenny to experience this profound therapeutic practise for yourself and feel immediate results of harmonising the body, mind and soul!
