This structured 2-day workshop covers:

  • Why study Yoga Anatomy and Physiology?
  • Systems of the Body
  • The anatomical keys to strengthening your practice and increasing 
  • flexibility
  • Pain – 9 Ranges of Motion that apply in every yoga pose: how to use this knowledge to support a holistic and safe yoga practice

*Note: This workshop is part of the Pine Rivers Yoga Teacher Training program but is open to all interested students.

 

Your Trainer is Caroline Stuart

Caroline is a Therapist and Yoga Anatomy teacher trainer, with 18 years of experience.  She provides Massage Therapy, Yoga Therapy, training and consultation.

Her journey began as a Massage Therapist with a keen interest in Anatomy, Pathophysiology and Yoga. She went on to study Yoga, and completed her Yoga Teacher training in 2004.  To deepen her knowledge of Yoga, she traveled to India to study at the Krishnamacarya Yoga Mandarim in Chennai.  Her interest in Yoga as Therapy was ignited and Caroline went on to study Yoga Therapy for 6 years within the Krishnamacarya tradition.

In 2010 she began to teach Anatomy on Yoga Teacher Training courses.  Caroline has since authored anatomy courses for training Yoga and Massage students.  Upon invitation she runs workshop in VIC, NSW, SA and WA.  She currently teaches for yoga schools in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.

If you are new to Pine Rivers Yoga you will need to subscribe to Pine Rivers Yoga first. Existing students and past attendees simply need to enter their email address.
